If required we will carry out a microwave leakage inspection at the same time as your portable appliance testing and provide a result log on your appliance register. All microwaves are labelled with quality waterproof labels.

Microwave leakage inspections are a important part of your health and safety programme and are carried out to comply with:

• BS EN 60335-290 1998 - Safety of household electrical appliances
• BS EN 60335-2-25 - Requirements for microwave ovens
• The test requires the oven test result to be less than 5mw / cm2
• We will also carry out a power measurement test if required
